Creek Cat Tours

Race through Hilton Head's creeks in a two-person Creek Cat at speeds up to 30 mph

Creek Cats are small, fast catamaran-style boats that you drive yourself on a guided tour through Hilton Head's back creeks and open sound. They're like go-karts on water — easy to handle, surprisingly quick (up to 30 mph), and genuinely thrilling. If the Mini Boat Tour is the family-friendly option, the Creek Cat is the one that gets your heart rate up.

The tour covers the same 25-mile route as the Mini Boat Tour — Harbour Town Lighthouse, Daufuskie Island, Bull Island, the open waters of Calibogue Sound — but the Creek Cat's lower profile and higher speed make it feel completely different. You're closer to the water, the spray hits you, and the tight creek passages feel more like an adventure than a sightseeing trip.

Two people per boat, and you must be 21+ with a valid driver's license to drive. Bottled water is included. Departs from Palmetto Bay Marina. Odd-numbered groups should book the Mini Boat Tour instead — it accommodates up to 4 per boat.
